that’s the biggest achievement and drive in my life.
i like pairing contrasts (juxtapose). // i like to juxtapose in my works light and dark, delicate/fragile and bold, modern and vintage.
my biggest drive in my work are messages of love, hope and happiness/joy.
i like to use media that we used when we were young to paint and draw our masterpieces. i try to use these considered (simple) children’s media e.g coloured pencils, pencils, markers to make my (adult) art.
often i use great quality modern art materials on a xix(19)-century paper. combining old and new. at the same time bold and fragile/delicate.
in my works hope and happiness are woven into landscapes of sadness, loneliness and misery that surround us and penetrate every cell of our bodies. both to spark better life for us all.
in a modern world we forget our ancestors. those before us, who shaped us.
journey of a self discovery. hope for better tomorrow.
